The Collaborative Organizations Responding to Dislocation (CORD) committee was formed to discuss ways to coordinate and organize our collective community resources to best serve dislocated workers and their families, and to respond to the economic distress in Rock County. The purpose is to identify those activities or services currently available, those that may be pending with the intent of identifying gaps in service exist, and how to improve coordination and collaboration between the agencies to enhance service delivery for impacted workers and their families. The CORD committee agreed to work with the Community Economic Adjustment Program (CEAP) at the University of Michigan in developing our response.
