Job Fairs
The Southwest Wisconsin Workforce Development Board regularly schedules and coordinates job fairs at its regional Job Centers, on-site at employers' facilities, and in other locations. SWWDB can organize job fairs for a single employer or a group of employers. Events that feature multiple employers are advertised widely throughout the communities in which they will be held, as well as the surrounding areas, to attract qualified job-seekers for the positions being offered.
Job-seekers are encouraged to dress professionally and bring along multiple copies of their resume, cover letter, and other application materials. Each employer handles the recruitment process differently, so job-seekers should be ready to, among other things, fill out an online application, participate in a short interview, or schedule an interview for a later date.
